OneD&D's open gaming licence will introduce royalties for biggest creators, prevent third-party NFTs
Dungeons & Dragons creators attempted to clarify the future of the popular tabletop RPG by explaining how OneD&D will change the way independent creators make and sell D&D-related products. A December 21st blog post on D&DBeyond says the company and designers working on the next iteration, codenamed OneD&D, have heard the discussions concerning the Open Gaming Licence (OGL) and accompanying System Reference Document (SRD).

Dungeons & Dragons' New License Tightens Its Grip On Competition
The new Dungeons & Dragons Open Gaming License, a document which allows a vast group of independent publishers to use the basic game rules created by D&D owner Wizards of the Coast, significantly restricts the kind of content allowed and requires anyone making money under the license to report their products to Wizards of the Coast directly, according to an analysis of a leaked draft of the document, dated mid-December.

you spend a day or two researching a game only to find out you already own it. I am guilty of this more than once. That makes it a habit..sigh.
